Happy Easter to you all !

Bishop Deenihan wrote “ The prospect of celebrating Easter without the participation of the people is not what any of us would have wished, but let us also be mindful of the Easter metaphor that joy, new life and resurrection follow isolation and suffering. We all look forward to being able to meet again soon.
The Bishop’s words from last week remain relevant this week. He encouraged
neigh- bouring parishes to celebrate online and I did so with Fr Timothy in Lobinstown. Thanks to all who marked Lent safely, the sacristans and altar societies who keep the churches open and looking well, and those who said the Prayer for Lent over the past few weeks, so that we could be united in prayer.

I offer Mass each day along with the Mass on RTÉ News Now, at 10.30am, for booked Masses
when they arise. On other days, Mass is offered for your intentions.
Monday 10.30am    Bridget Carolan,   1st Anniversary
Tuesday 10.30am    Lily Mc Guinness 1st Anniversary,
                                Peter Mc
Guinness and Larry Ward.

Trócaire Box
Think outside the box and put something into the Trócaire box.

We’re all conscious of how hard the lockdown is on mental health and business and careers in
the future. Please keep going. It’s great to meet people who have got their vaccinations, which will be our way out of this situation. In spite of the frustration, please try to be patient with yourself and others.

Thanks to all who have returned envelopes over the past few weeks. I very much appreciate your support of the parish, and of me personally.

Online donations can now be made to parish and diocesan collections
