19th Sunday in Ordinary Timeprepare
Gerry Boyle PP  046 9054138

Thanks to all who helped in any way over the past few weeks to prepare for the ordination of Fr Barry White. We keep Fr Barry in our prayers and wish him happiness and fulfilment in his ministry.

Cemetery devotions again in Rathkenny Monday 15th August after three years. Prayers in the Old Cemetery at 6.30pm and in the newer cemetery after 7.30pm Mass.

The work of grieving is a journey back to new life. The wound may be deep; it does not go away. Rather, the wound too becomes part of the new life; it gives us a new way of being ourselves. We become life going on after loss and grief, life going on to new experiences and joys, life going on to greater compassion and wisdom.      Judith E Meyer
