Information
Saint Cyril, , 370 - 444 A.D., was Patriarch of Alexandria and led a monastic life. He was orthodox in his thinking and wrote many documents explaining and defending the Catholic Faith. He fought against Nestorianism at the Council of Ephesus (431), which proclaimed Mary as Mother of God. |
