Information

Saint Clare was born in Assisi in 1193. She was a disciple of Saint Francis and founded the second Franciscan Order called the Poor Clares. St. Clare ran the order for 42 years before her death in 1253. She is the Patron Saint of Eye Disorders, Telegraphs, Telephones and Television.
