Information

St. Dominic was born in Calaruega, Spain in 1170. He studied theology at Palencia and was made canon of the Church of Osma. He founded the " Order of Friar Preachers", propagated the praying of the Rosary, and saved the Church from the Albigensian Heresy. St. Dominic died in Bologna, Italy, in 1221. He is the Patron Saint of Astronomers.
