St Wenceslaus


St. Wenceslaus, or Wenceslas- Czech: Václav) , 907 - 935, was the ruler of Bohemia. He sought to bring Christianity to his people. He was martyred by his brother, Boleslaus, near Prague.He is the Patron Saint of the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
