Jesus falls the third time.

Invocation
V. We adore you, O Christ, and we bless you.
R. Because by Your Holy Cross you have redeemed the world

"Come to me all you who labour and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." Mark 11:29

Within sight of Calvary Jesus falls a third time beneath the Cross. He had invited all who are burdened to come to him for support. Now, as we see him rise again, we know that he will support us in our lives when trials and problems seem insuperable.

Let us pray:
Lord Jesus, in our human weakness we often fall and feel the need of support and comfort. With confidence in the support that comes from God alone we can ask for help knowing that the prayer of faith will never be unanswered.

I love You, Jesus; I love You above all things;
I repent with my whole heart of having offended You.
Never permit me to separate myself from You again.
Grant that I may love You always;
and then do with me what You will.
