On New Year's Day, Pope Francis said, 'Let us make greater efforts to promote mothers and to protect women. How much violence is directed towards women! Enough! To hurt a woman is to insult God, who from a woman took on our humanity. '

The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity begins on Tuesday.
The theme this year is 'We saw His star in the East'. The prayers are prepared by Churches in the Middle East. The Wise Men are seen as a symbol of the world's diversity and their journey could be seen as trying to achieve the unity God desires.

Sincere thanks to all who helped with cleaning and stewarding in our churches and thanks to our sacristans.
There are no capacity limits on churches currently .
Please use all the space in the churches to allow space between people from different households.
Masks are still required along with hand sanitation and cough etiquette.
