Greetings to all. I am a native of Slane, daughter of Noel and the late Jean (Morgan)Mc Cormack. I received my Confirmation in Rathkenny and spent many an hour sneeking into the Rushwee Church to play the organ with my siblings. I am currently living near Boston after spending 7 years near Seattle, WA. Husband James, and children Ciara, Brendan and Enya hope to visit you all this summer. Love the site and please keep all exPats in your prayers.
Comment:
Best wishes to you, Elizabeth, and to your husband and family. Your comment is appreciated. We have a newly-donated organ in Rushwee awaiting your trial run!

What a wonderful website! I was so pleasantly suprised to find such an intimate parish site. I intended to just take a peek, but it was so inviting and easy to navigate that I ended up browsing for well over an hour! Thank you. P.S. I am originally from Spokane, Washington, and spent many, many summer days on Flathead Lake and visiting in Missoula. It was great to see folks from there in the visitor book, what a tiny world we live in!
Comment:
Glad you liked the website. It's encouraging to hear from you.

There is a wonderful sense of community in this website. I love its ease of navigation and the surprising snippets of information. I look forward to the questions and answers section being expanded. As benediction is one of my favourite childhood experiences, I would like to be aware if it will be held in any of the Churches in the Parish. I have now added this site to my favourites and will watch with interest. Well done and God bless.

Margaret, You were the first to write. Thank you. Glad that you appreciate Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.

My brother told me about this website and it was a joy to behold. The www is a vast expanse of information but it is wonderful to encounter what is familiar yet, in my case, distant. Still, very much looking forward to spending this coming Christmas in Rathkenny again with my brother and his wonderful family

It was great to go on to the world wide web and finally have something that brings you close to home and informs you of what's going on in your parish community. A big undertaking to put in place but congratulations on doing a superb job. Well done ...... from Mark,Nikki,Michaela and Callum.
